This live recording has it's fair share of warts. Dave Cousins' voice sounds shot (which is surprising given how good he sounds on Hummingbird with Wakeman). The musicianship is inconsistent. There are times things sound tight other times sloppy. There are so many variations of the available musicians that it is hard to strike any sense of continuity of sound. Every song exists in better version elsewhere. This is hardly an essential recording. For something more impressive turn to Wakeman & Cousins' Humminbird or the Strawbs' Baroque & Roll...Simon
