Customer Reviews of ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat - Tan Check
disappointed After hours of reading reviews and looking up safety ratings, I ordered this car seat. At first I loved it. It looked very comfortable and cushiony. My complaint came when I was playing with my 1 yr old and sat in the car seat. (That's right) I felt a lump under my legs, and lifted up the cushion. The bottom of the seat is not smoothly curved like others. There is a lump. We have several long road trips planned and was concerned about comfort. So, I went out and got a different car seat.I was quite disappointed. <

BEEN AROUND THE WORLD!
This carseat is fairly light compared to others yet still comfortable for my daughter. we have driven from So.California to San Fran (9 hour drive) no problem. I have taken it to and from England ALONE with my daughter and i'm thankful its not that heavy and fairly easy to install in an airplane seat.and its about $40 cheaper then the first car seat we bought and returned . really like this model.
use with twins
I bought 2 of these for my 9 mo old twins b/c they where getting too big for the infant seats, they do stay straight up when they are rear facing,my boys arent sitting up by themselves yet,so they seem to double over, but if the belts are tight enough they will be fine.I have one on each side of my daughters booster in a 2000 ford explore, fit good & tight with there being 3 in the same row! My only complante is not about the seat, however rear facing the head of the seat is so close the the back of my seat that I feel as though I'm in the steering wheel & sitting stright up,but if you have just one,be sure to put it on the passenger side!
