DON'T BOTHER WITH A FULL-WEIGHT TRAVEL SYSTEM!
I shopped and shopped for a travel system for several weeks. I picked out a nice Evenflo system, but felt it was still too heavy to be lifting in and out of my trunk everyday! Then, I decided to shop for a lightweight stroller and just add a car seat to it. So,I shopped some more and found this! I truly love it! Here is why:
-it's sooooo much lighter than the strollers that come in a 'pre-made' travel systems and, like I said above, just register for the car seat and you have a complete system!
-You can access the basket easily while the seat is reclined. (and the basket is way bigger than many I've seen!)
-one hand, ergonomic steering handle can't be beat!
-comfy padding for baby
-easy to fold up
-slightly wider width than other lightweight strollers I have seen - in case you have a chubby baby or baby is wearing a snow suit!
-very stable feel to it - my husband (an engineer - so he's picky) was impressed with it's solidness
-canopy has a nicely sized window so you can peek at baby easily
-mid-sized wheels so it should be able to tackle many types of terrain and still keep baby's ride smooth.
-Lastly, the pattern/fabric is a nice neutral gray. (My husband was not about to push around a stroller with teddy bears or lions all over it!)
All in all - the best lightweight stroller I've seen!
The only thing I'd change (and this is really just an "extra"- the stroller is still great without it:) would be the ability to have it fold up and be lifted without you having to stoop down to the floor to pick it all up - but I've only found one stroller that allows you to remain fully standing after it's folded, and that stroller had many other flaws that didn't make it worth it.
I think moms and dads will be very happy with this stroller. I know we are!

AWESOME STROLLER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE THIS STROLLER! Our daughter is 4 months old now and she LOVES this stroller too :-)

I spent forever looking up reviews on strollers and carseats before I decided upon this model. I read all the glowing reviews and then went to BRU and tested it out in person before purchasing this model. We have been using this stroller (and the matching portabout 5 infant carrier we purchased seperately) for 4 months now and we absolutely love it.

My friend has a 6 month old and she bought an eddie bauer travel system (BIG HUNK OF JUNK as she calls it!) She absolutely hates it. I almost feel guilty when we are shopping together because my stroller is so much more functional than hers! She is alwasy struggling to fold and unfold and she is always complaining about her eddie bauer travle system!

Anyway the EVENFLO stroller and the matching portabout 5 is awesome!

Its very easy to fold and unfold. It is lightweight (compared to some other models we tested out!!!)

Extremely easy to steer! The handle that sticks out makes it so easy to steer with one hand when you are trying to get in and out of doors especially.
The storage area is large and easy to access.

The compartments on the handle bar are great for holding keys and drinks or bottles. I especially love this since it has a cover over the smaller compartment that I normally throw my keys into.

Definately go to the store and compare this stroller to the others and you will see just how cool it is! Check out the matching infant carrier/seat too..it makes an awesome travel system!

Bottom line...for the price you can't beat the features!

Great Stroller
Im a first time mom and got this stroller for my son. This stroller is awesome. It is so much lighter than the others and it has a matching infant seat that attaches easily. If you are looking for an infant seat as well, definetley get the one that matches to this stroller. It also is lightweight. Matter of fact, my mother and I were in babies r us and tested all of the infant seats for weight. This was the lightest and easiest to carry because of the handles. The Graco's were the heaviest. This stoller is easy to fold up and has a great roomy basket. Which is definetley a must for all moms. It is easy to steer and is very comfortable. My son will fall asleep in it,if he is tired. I give this 5*****stars.
