Loved the bassinet
On the whole, we've been happy with this purchase. The separate bassinet is a big selling point, it's adorable, and I wasn't about to spend the $$ to get a separate one otherwise. Definitely came in handy those first few weeks. The vibrating feature is quite aggressive, so we never really used it. The light and music are good to have though. Have traveled with this thing by air 3 times; it's heavy, but has held up to the airlines without any damage. Not terribly easy to put up/take down - seems like someone really ought to come up with a better design for these things. Changing table is a great feature, and there are lots of pockets along the sides for all baby's stuff.

>-This playpen has a lot of fabric, except right on the changer, which is plastic. Babies, and especially boys, do occasionally and sometimes frequently, make potty messes while being changed. I often have to clean areas that my son showered. Also, the padding inside the playpen is fabric, surface washable only. I have three children, and I know that diapers leak, babies spit up and drool, and the places they play need to be washed, not just wiped down. Before we used this, I got waterproof pads and a Pack and Play sheet. This way, when it needs to be cleaned, I can actually clean it, not wipe it down. This is the one thing I didn't know when I bought it, and this is a big drawback. Even with all the precautions I take to keep a clean area for my son, I do not feel like this would be a good hand-me-down item. It just seems like it would be less than clean. <
>-There is nowhere to put diaperering supplies. We got the Diaper Depot by Price Lionheart. It is enough to hold diapers, wipes, diaper cream, lotion and powder. All the basics plus a bit more. It this playpen's defense, this would be an issue for most playpens, and the Diaper Depot is an inexpensive and convenient solution. Also, the changer is a little low. I don't mind as long as I am just diapering (I am 5'7") though for anything that takes longer my back gets sore. <
>-The bassinet is smaller than standard. My son was 22" at birth and outgrew the bassinet fairly quickly. The toys that hang from the bassinet hood are the same neutral colors as the bassinet, and seem to me to just be in the way. I simply took them off as a newborn doesn't notice that they are there. <

>Overall, this is a good playpen. I have to admit, the biggest reason we got this was for the separate bassinet. It is a very good quality, I will use this until my son is too big, though if I had to do it again, I probably would have gotten the Graco Pack and Play with the taller changer.

Great Product
This product is very nifty for both parent and child. It comes with its own bassinett and pedastal so you can have one in the bedroom and one in the living room. I have not had any problems with this unit or with the company(havent had to deal with them) I rate this five stars because it is really worth six!
