misleading title the title leads you to believe that you will read about a combat medic, this is not true. this guy was a medic in an evac hospital, and he writes more about the corruption that went on in vietnam and "lifers" than actual patient care and stories about life as a "combat medic". not a bad book in general, just not what the title implies.
