The Sherpa fabric has the creamy color and fleecy appearance of sheepskin. Unfortunately, the interior side of the blanket--the part that touches the baby when it becomes a bunting--isn't as soft or fleecy as the exterior. In fact, the interior of the sample blanket was scratchy and already prone to pilling. It has satin trim and a classic Pooh emblem showing Pooh with a "hunny" pot. Made of 70 percent polyester and 30 percent acrylic. --Hannah Reynolds

Customer Reviews of Classic Pooh - Baby Bunting - Honey Pot
Quite good for stroller rides! This bunting was a staple for us in the fall when my daughter was 2-4 months old. She loved to kick blankets off, and the snaps on the bunting inhibited that, while not restricting her motion. My only complaint about this product is that it is made of synthetic fibers, but wool is so expensive, and this is awfully snuggly warm! A good comprimise.
Warm and toasty
This is perfect for cool Los Angeles winter nights!! We don't run our heater too much, so we have to make sure our daughter stays nice and warm, and this does the job. if it's not enough, we bundle her in a blanket, and stick her in the bunting, and she's nice and warm. Best of all the snaps keep her from unraveling, but are easy to undo when she wakes up for first breakfast!!
Little Baby Bunting ...
This is a FAN-TAS-TIC bunting/blanket. The picture doesn't flatter it any; the color is a very soft, off white - not yellow.
While I was hesitant to swaddle my baby in a non-cotton item, I was pleasantly surpised by the softness and washing stamina of this product. It's not hard to figure out the snaps to create the bunting feature, and then, once your wee one gets a little less wee, it stretches out to make a great soft blanket for tummy time on the floor.
Contrary to what the review says, in my experience, the inside of the bunting (or "other" side of the blanket) isn't scratchy or itchy at all. Mind you, it's not flannel or anything that soft, but it fits the bill nicely as a little wrap for your baby on those cool fall/winter/spring days and nights. It's also cute without being cutesy, something I absolutely detest in the swarm of infant products.
This product also works well for those babies who don't like to be tightly swaddled, or for those new moms who can't quite master the swaddling technique, but who still want Junior to be cozy and warm. When my son was a newborn, I would hold him for hours in this bunting (mind you, he was born in January in Southern New England ... one of the coldest and snowiest winters on record!), and he stayed toasty warm without getting all tangled in the bunting. Not so easy to do with those receiving blankets!
I highly recommend this bunting for anyone with a newborn, and think you'll be just as pleased as I was with the purchase. With my next baby I'll be buying a few more, so that I'll always have one fresh and clean to use.
