Customer Reviews of Classic NES Series: The Legend of Zelda
Lovely The way new games are, they are so easy. You really had to have a talent to master these games. No strategy guides or crap like that. Play and learn. I know kids will not understand what I am saying, but that is alright. This is still a beautiful game that started the Zelda series. I know most people over 30 will agree with me.
An "Old Friend" is Brought Back to Life
I can remember when I had my original Nintendo system. This was one of the first games I purchased, and I quickly became addicted to it. I managed to make it through every level except 1, and now with the Gameboy version, I will finally be able to continue my quest for that last level.

>The moment I turned the game on, I could remember those times playing it on my Nintendo system. Nothing has changed from the Nintendo version to the Gameboy version. Unfortunately, I've forgotten where most everything is over the years, but I'm looking forward to playing this great game again and reliving some old memories.

>The graphics on the Gameboy version are identical to the old Nintendo version. Although the graphics are not nearly as impressive as some other games, it is still a lot of fun to play the game and try to pick your way through all of the different levels and encounters.

>I give this game my highest recommendation. I was glad to see that one of my "old friends" was given another chance. I know I will play this game with the same level of fun and enthusiasm that I did all those years ago on my Nintendo system. Pick up this game and feel the power of Zelda. I know you will be drawn in just as I was.
It took me a while to realize it was a classic! (No offence)
During Christmas time my brother got a PS2 and I got a GBA SP along with Superman the game. Then I ended up getting very good games. Around July 4th (my birthday) I got Crash Bandicoot first, and as I was about to get The Legend of Zelda A link to the past four swords (can you believe that I thought the four swords was a rating?) But the Wal-Mart helper said to the classic NES series. So I put down the Zelda game and picked up the other one.

>I never heard about Ice Climber and Metroid so bear with me on the reviews please? Okay now the plot:

>Gannon stole the triforce of power, so Zelda broke up the triforce of wisdom into eight seperate pieces. Link is sent to slay Gannon, collect the triforce, and save Zelda. There are SOME dorky enemies I admit (like the killer bunnies) but you got to think past that to realize this game is FUN, CHALLENGING, AND MIND BENDING! So it's almost July and I still haven't beat it. Me and my friend Jesse played it on are way to and from school, and we both decided it was absoulutly impossible to beat! We haven't even gotten past the seconed level!
