Customer Reviews of CitiTour Tandem Stroller - Tattersall
Pretty good....compared to what's out there I really looked around for a double stroller. Having a newborn and an almost 2 year old, I can't go anywhere myself without one. I tried them ALL. This won. I think the graco duoglider is cheaply made. I have a graco single stroller that I REALLY loved, but I guess it was a high-end one(Graco Quattro Tour), so the guy told me. I hated having to remove parts on the double graco stroller to get the kids in and out. <
>This one has a tray that pulls up in the front which is great for a 2 year old that wants in and out all the time. It's relatively light weight compared to other ones. I can turn it very well. There is a lot of storage underneath and it's really good looking. The pads are REALLY soft. My son loves to rub them. <
>The parent tray is tricky. It's getting worse the more I use it. I'm thinking of removing it and just putting on one of those hook on cup holders. Since there is a zipper in the back of the hood of the stroller, I store everything in there and barely use the storage in the cup holder. <
>Also, my front wheels melted a little while sitting in my van. I leave it in my van all the time and they told me that on above 90 degree days, with it sitting in the hot for a long time, that it can happen. Never happened to my graco, but oh well. They were really good about sending me new ones for free. Just annoying to take it out and put it in the garage on hot days and having to put it back in the van to go somewhere. <
>The wheels did squeak, but WD40 solved that problem. My son is tall and sometimes his feet hit the wheel locks on the front and locks a wheel, then I have to unlock it or I can't turn. That's the most annoying thing of this stroller. I wish the locks were on the REAR of the front wheels instead of the front. <
>After trying ALL of the double strollers out there, I'm glad I went with this one. I found it the best. I think any double stroller is somewhat hard to handle. I wish Graco made a nicer double stroller like the Quattro tour, I would DEFINATELY buy it.
Great Concept, Disappointing Design
I looked for 6 months for the perfect double stroller. The Graco DuoGlider was nice but did not give me the storage options I wanted and required that several parts be removed in order to close it so it would take up the least amount of space possible. The jeep double was great, except very hard to maneuever. Then I saw this stroller. Easy access baskets, folds compactly without removing trays, large seats, tons of extra pockets and storage for bottles, cell phones, toys, kleenex, you name it. Then me dreams were crushed. First, the tray that holds the drinks NEVER STAYS UP. The end result, beverage spilled all over me and my baby. Next, the front wheels began to squeak something fierce, problem was fixed however, with some WD 40. Then the fun continued when the left back wheel came off while taking both my children on a neighborhood walk in the park. We were right at the weight limit, so I though it was a fluke. Turns out it wasn't. Two weeks later, the the left back wheel fell off while we were at the county fair. Try carrying a 4 month old, 2 year old, diaper bag, etc with a stroller with no back wheel. Am very disappointed with this stroller. Contacted Evenflo today, very unhelpful. If I don't get a response I will turn this into Attorney General. Be careful not to place any hot beverages, such as coffee in the drink tray, should you happen to waste your money on this stroller. Should have went with the Graco Duoglider.
