Customer Reviews of Cirrus Travel System with LATCH - Cubby Parade
Wouldn't Consider Another System I love this system! Some of these moms are nuts! All they need to do is simply get around whatever their complaint is. For example, the basket IS somewhat blocked (not totally) when the baby reclines, but I still manage to get things in and out of it. (It won't bother your baby to lift the seat a little if you need to, which I don't very often.) Also, you HAVE to take the mom's drink tray off when folding it, common sense and no big deal. (Throw it in the basket!) Everything else is a snap, especially folding it up and opening it back up again. I love this! Even my friends and family are amazed as its ease, pattern/color, lightweight, ease of carrier in and out of stroller, handling, and everything else. (My mother wishes they made them like this when I was a baby!) The stroller and carrier set up (the "travel system" package) is GREAT. My only complaint is the car seat base -- my carrier gets stuck in it and it takes 20 minutes to work the carrier out. I don't like the idea of using it in the car so I have a convertible car seat (which I feel safer with, anyway -- carriers and bases make me nervous). I LOVE this system -- style, color, handling, everything -- and wouldn't trade it for a{nother} one!
This system is the best!
I've read all of the other reviews and couldn't disagree more with the ones who complain about its features. So, you have to push the back of the seat up to put something in the basket while your child is lying down in the stroller...is that such a big deal? I use my stroller at least two times a week. My son never wakes up if I need to put something under there. I've met lots of moms with lots of strollers and they all compliment my Graco one. It's sturdy, yet light. I'm a petite woman, and lifting this into my trunk is a piece of cake. The car seat is very safe. I never had any problem with it being flimsy while attached to the stroller either. It was very secure. Having to fold the parent tray down or pop it back up upon opening the stroller is not that big of a deal, is it? One reviewer stated that she can't fit tall drinks in the cup holder without it skimming the handle. Is that really an issue? I have not problem holding the handle, and I put bottled water and tall glasses in mine all the time. I think this system is great. I've had it for more than six months, and it barely shows any wear and tear. It's easy to use, safe, the pattern is cute and it's well worth the money. All of the reviewers complaints seem a bit nit picky to me. I would recommend this stroller to anyone.
I LOVE this system ****LOVE IT****
All my family live across the country. My son is 8 mos old and we've already flown twice. This stroller is the BEST thing. I was carrying a huge diaper bag (serving as a carry on as well), my 20 pound son and my stroller. When I go through any security at the airport, with one hand, while holding the baby, I can fold this up, lock it and lift it onto the xray belt. To open is even easier. I just pop it open. EVERY time we go through a security check I always get comments on how easily my son and I travel - and it's because of this stroller set. This would be in my top three essentials of all time for my baby.
My husband and I researched and researched until we were sick of even thinking about travel systems and strollers. In the end this one made the most sense. Without even being sure, we bought it. We now know we made the best decision.
The cirrus is LIGHT and easy to open and close. Yes, when the seat is in full recline you can't get to the basket. WHATEVER. Buy a $600 Silver Cross pram then. And your super size pepsi doesn't fit in the cup holder??....WAAAAAHHHHH!!! Well, just leave the cup in your Hummer or have your butler follow you around offering you sips every now and again. It does fit a bottle of water, a soda can or a small travel cup of coffee. If you want something that you can fold up while you're holding your baby, and that you can lift up and fit in the trunk of a Honda Civic and still have room for groceries...then THIS IS IT FOLKS.
