Spend your [money] on something else...Please. I'm sorry. I'm not trying to hate on a girl, but this CD wasn't poppin'. At all. Maybe it's just me, but when I was giving it its first listen, I had to keep forwarding to the next track 'cause I really wasn't feelin' it. To be honest with you, I really didn't like her first album neither. And I'm not down with Murder Inc, so consider me biased. Don't take my word for it if you don't want to. But when I first heard "Rock Wit U" on the radio, I liked it. And I figured since it was such a hot track, I would cop the album on its release date. It was such a waste of my money. I wanted to sell it back the next day. If I hear Ashanti say "Baby" one more time, I'mma start screaming. For real. The beats aren't hot at all and the material is all filler. As an artist, she doesn't deserve all the hype that she and Murder Inc are claimin'. "Princess of Hip Hop and R&B"??? I say you're better off buyin' the Beyonce, Monica, and Mya albums. For one, THEY deserve the title more than Ashanti.

This summer seems to be raining female R&B. With Monica, Beyonce, Ashanti, and Mya putting albums out this summer this might be one of the best summers yet.
In my honest opinion, I truly believe that this is a great album. I bought it because actually like Ashanti and I think she is an incredible writer. The only reason I rated 4 stars is for the annoying interludes/skits. Chapter ll is exactly that, the second chapter in her career. She has gotten rid of the one word song names and Ja Rule is not featured at all on this cd. I really think that was a VERY smart move because Ja Rule is in a different stage in his career than Ashanti.
1. Intro/Medley 5/5-Very nice, just like on 'Ashanti'.
2. Shany's World 2/5-Just plain irritating.
3. Rock Wit U 4/5-Nice, first single.
4. What Are They Gonna Say Now (Skit) 2/5- Same as # 2
5. Breakup 2 Makeup 5/5-I love this song!
6. I Found Lovin' 5/5-I'm pretty sure this is her next single.
7. Rain On Me 5/5-You can actually feel her pain.
8. Then Ya Gone 5/5-Beautifuly written. Always cherish your
love ones.
9. Living My Life 5/5-My favorite! She has a little part where
she 'reviews' her other songs.
10. Black Child (Skit) */5-I couldn't tell ya, I stopped listin
to them.
11. Feel So Good 4/5-Great song, nice beat.
12. Carry On 5/5-Has to be my second favorite. Carry On!!!

I really hate when people put skits into albums to make them longer. Without them, there are 13 very well written and preformed songs. You should pick up a copy anyway, as long as you don't mind 'baby' in every chorus.
Please make this the "Final Chapter".
Okay, Ashanti has some catchy ass hooks on the radio and everything, but um, I think this album is quite boring! Just about all the songs on this album are slow. The only good songs on this album are the ones that were released on the radio. This princess has definitely fallen off of her throne. She is too overated. I don't even know whose idea it was to call HER that anyways, oh yeah I forgot it was Ja Rule, which is another lame. Anyways if you want an album worth your money, don't buy this one.
