Customer Reviews of Casper and Wendy's Ghostly Adventures
Wonderful!!!! I used to love these cartoons when I was a kid I used to love Casper and all of the Harvey Films characters. I used to watch Casper's cartoons all of the time. I used to love him he was so sweet; But I would always get sad whenever people would be afraid and run away because he was so sweet!!!! I really did used to enjoy Casper and all kinds of other vintage cartoons I enjoy this DVD it takes me down memory lane ; Casper was the best and one of my favorite cartoons!!!!!
Spooktacualer fun
I rented the DVD today and i saw all 14 cartoons, thy are really great and i recomen it to all you casper fans out there they teach kids how to make friends.
Good show, lackluster presentation
Though the transfers on this and most other Classic Media releases of Casper are reasonably agreeable, I cannot help but lament the fact that a proper company, willing to put some effort into restoration of source materials and extras, didn't release this show. To call Classic Media's releases "skimpy" would be an understatement of extraordinary magnitude. Even the cover art is almost unbearably ugly; pretty much any hack designer could have thrown it together in less than half an hour.
Perhaps it has not occurred to "Secret Santa", if this is indeed his name, that there are some of us who actually enjoy "awkward" special features and don't mind paying a few dollars extra for them. "Santa" seems to be implying that these features cause him some embarrassment or discomfort; that he finds them difficult to handle (perhaps a dictionary might alleviate his confusion). To that I say 'Phooey-Kaflooey!' Presentation IS important to the serious collector.
Still, quite a fine show.
