A good set
I love Carter's, and recieved this set as a gift. I would not have spent so much money myself, but I guess if you price evrything individually, the set is a savings compared to brand new. I noticed in other reviews that not every product in the set is useful, and I am no different. The set of teething keys are all pastel, and therefore boring, the T shirts and gown ride-up on my baby (not Carter's fault) and the booties just aren't made well and my baby was born too big for the cap - so none of these products are useful to me. The recieveing blanket is soft and the washcloths and towel are serviceable. If your baby is born premature, however, the clothes in this set will be too big for quite a while. Even the average size newborn will be engulfed in most items. It's fun to dress a new baby up in different clothes, and the uniform color of the set is kind of a letdown, but that's just my opinion.

Great collection
As a first time mom, I found this set to be invaluble - some items I wouldn't have suspected I found very useful after my baby was born. We're still using all the items in this set after 2 months. A really great shower gift. The blue is uniform but a pleasant color.

I know
I have a 4 month old baby goddaughter and I am always taking care of her because her mother is deaf. So this piece is wonderful it gives you almost all you need to start off with a new baby. If I didnt buy this myself i would not be writing this. I have been taking care of babies since I was 5 so I know.
