This is not the original.
To the review before mine, this is not the original care bears because beastly was not in the original. I am 21 and can remember the very original cartoon in the early 80s, and that is the one I know and love. I gave this one three stars because it is also good, but it is not the original, and nothing is as good as the original. Todays generation should get a chance to experience care bears through the original cartoons the way they were meant to be enjoyed, but this is only my opinion.

Care Bear
I was so happy when dic released the first three dvd's of the orginal care bear series with Professor Coldheart, and now Nelvana's bringing back Shrieky, Beastly and No Heart!!! The shows included on this dvd are:
CARE-A-LOT'S BIRTHDAY:
When Hugs and Tugs are kidnapped and it's up to the others to save them!
GRUMPY'S THREE WISHES:
Grumpy bear finds a four leaf clover that grants him three wishes
THE GREAT RACE:
Where the Care Bears hold a race to see who will be crowned queen or king for the day, but beastly joins in the action bent on winning using all sorts of horrible cheats.
HOME SWEET HOMELESS:
Where a flood forces the Care Bear Cousins to move into Care-a-lot and the Care Bears learns what it really means to care.

My favorite from this dvd was the great race, as I remembered watching it when I was little ^.^ Hope this information helps and support the Care Bears!!!
