Fits my new Canon S500 like a glove!
A really terrific deal with free UPS Ground Shipping from Amazon for a mere $11.39!! Quality construction out of durable butter-soft leather with a secure Velcro closure (across the entire width of the flap) will protect the surface of my brand new S500 Elph when not in use. What isn't shown in the image is the back of this case, which has a wide flush belt-loop to maintain its overall compact size. And, what appears to be a small divot in the top center of the image is actually a small opening for the wrist or neck strap. This is a lean accessory without any extra compartments for storage.

Good quality. Fits S400, a little tight in the beginning
This camera case is constructed with good quality. The belt clip is quite handy. The small size gives you the option to slip the whole thing into the pocket. A reviewer suggested that the soft leather may not provide enough protection, but I think this camera case is a good compromise between size and protection. Really on a daily basis, the most fragile part of the camera is the LCD screen. This camera case would be sufficient to prevent scratches. There isn't a whole lot of reason to get a bulkier case and sacrifice the option to slip it into the pocket.

The fit for my S400 camera was too tight in the beginning, and it took some effort to get the camera out of the case. However, the leather stretched to fit the camera after a week or so. Now the fit is perfect.

What I don't particularly care for is the large, gold logo "Canon Elph" which I'm afraid invites undesirable attention.

If you have a Canon Digital Elph you need to get this case.

great case for a great camera
well.. the reason i have opted to buy a canon elph S410 over other cameras is the quality of pictures i get and its compactness. but once after buying this camera, i was looking for a case which can hold it perfectly and a compact one like my camera. apart from its compactness, there are some additional features like belt clip and a hole on the top of the case for the strap of the camera.. i think its the best design u can get for an elph model..

the quality of the case is very good.. smooth finishing and very light weight.. good deal for just $11.9..

i will strongly suggest this case for those carring elph cameras..
