Great Value
We found this camera's 3MP brother (the A510) on closeout for $150. At that price, it's an incredible value. I like that it uses regular AA recharables, so it's easy to have spare batteries with you. It's very easy to operate, I find I'm able to set up shots with it pretty quickly. A 1GB card easily holds days worth of snapshots and short movie clips. At this price, it's also a good first camera for kids learning to take pictures, or in rough travel situtations where you may want to leave your "good" camera at home, but still have something that takes decent snapshots.

>On the downside, it's a bit bulky compared to Canon's Powershot SD series, and the LCD screen on the back is pretty small.
Mine Was a Dud I Guess...
This camera performed beautifully. It took great pix, and I had ZERO complaints. Then, only four months after buying it, it inexplicably stopped working. None of the buttons functioned and I'm not spending at least half the cost of the camera to get it fixed. But if repairs don't bother you, it really was a great camera.
