Best Printer Best all-in-one printer I have owned. Had one problem where the unit powered completely off when not used, had to unplug and replug the ac wire to turn it back on. Canon support was great sent and another unit which has been problem free.
Reviews I read a year ago were great. What happened?
I always read costomer reviews before buying anything. I did just that with the Pixma MP780 and was confident in my purchase. 14 months after purchase, the thing cant print black. Now when revisiting the reviews there seems to be a comon complaint. CANON PIXMA MP780 WONT PRINT BLACK. Keep in mind when buying an all in one printer, that without black printing what good will it do.

If it won't print, what good is it?
My printing problems began two months after warranty expiration. I tried every troubleshoot I could find, three times. What a beautiful machine. It does everything very well. It even looks great sitting there on the desk. But what if it stops printing, then what good is it? I finally gave up and bought something else.
