Caleca's Marina dinnerware has an irrepressible cheerfulness and a charming artisan touch to its design. Each piece features a brilliant white background decorated in blue and yellow with sweet violets, a beaded motif, circular washes, and a trim border. The coupe shape of the set is comfortable and spacious and stacks well in the cupboard. Crafted in Italy and painted by hand, the dishes are created from an incredible strong yet lightweight ceramic with lead- and cadmium-free glazing. They are chip- and scratch-resistant, as well as safe in the microwave and dishwasher. Service for one, this place setting includes an 11-inch dinner plate, an 8-1/4-inch salad plate, an 8-1/2-inch soup/pasta bowl, a 6-1/4-inch saucer, and a 4-inch-diameter teacup.
