Customer Reviews of CASHFLOW(r) 101 Board Game (CD)
Cashflow is both fun and educational. First and foremost my 12 year old step-son had a great time playing the game. A friend of mine brought it over and we played after dinner. I look forward to investing in this game myself. <

>In response to the negative comments, a portion of success in life is random chance. There are many opportunities that you will never see coming that must be taken advantage of immediately. In regards to buying stocks you can absolutely have some idea of the stock's range. What you don't know is if it will ever go up. Additionally, the game doesn't force the idea that the only way to become rich is by buying and selling stocks. It opens up that possiblitity and many more as different ways to accumulate wealth. <

>Ultimately and most importantly, it's a game. It teaches solid financial principles to both children and adults. It does not take the place of real world experience, financial education or the advice of professionals. There's a warning label on the box in regards to taking the principles of the game and running out, trying to be a millionaire. <

>Financial literacy isn't taught in school, this is a great way for you and your family to learn.

A great learning experience for the willing
So being rich is a mindset. Yes it is the amount of money in your cashflow as well how you spend it and your assets and what not. But most importantly people keep riches and make riches by being in the right mental state to handle them. This game while not realistic in it's numbers is very easy to apply to real world examples. The desire to be rich has to be there to understand the beauty of this game. It is luck...simply put it is how you play the cards. But isn't that what life is? You play the cards that are given to you. The question is did you play those cards in a set of smart financial decisions or did you save to spend all your life? So I recommend the game but I don't recommend playing it unless you have read Rich Dad Poor Dad first. The concepts and mindset of being rich won't make sense to you unless you read the book first. I suggest finding a local "Rich Dad" game player in the area which you can find on the Rich Dad website, (do a google search) Then you can try the game before buying it! But still...a great game!
