Customer Reviews of C.R.A.Z.Y.
Amazingly balanced The most honest, unaffected and, why not, positive account of a guy's struggle to come to terms with his feelings towards himself, his family and his interest in other men. <
>I think it succeeds in showing how people find it difficult to deal with what they think they have been taught not to accept when they pay more attention to other people's feelings and actions than their own. Great parents and brothers who haven't had the chance to talk to and understand each other even though they obviously care for one another.
Amazing. CRAZY!
I think this movie is by far one of my most fav, actually no, let me rephrase that. IT'S MY FAV movie of all time. It is so good to know that there are people out there who do a tremendous job in terms of building the whole package. Starting with the phenomenal acting that the actors showed. The soundtrack!!!! is what really got me at first, and then the story of how he grows up, and he struggles with his life and how he wants to please his father.. was just so REAL. I can definetly relate to this movie, and i'm sure a lot of people will love it once they get to watch it. 5 stars well deserved. French cinema is as good as always.
Crazy good
*C.R.A.Z.Y.* is a wonderful film about a boy and his relationship with his father throughout his childhood, teen years and adulthood. It's also about a boy being put on a pedestal because of his near-death episodes and his blessing from God. In addition, it's also about a boy's struggles with his sexuality. That's not all. It's also about a boy's relationship with his brothers.

>While the mother "knows all" and is free-spirited in letting her boys do whatever they want, the father has different expectatations of them. He expects his boys to be men. The 2nd youngest boy, Zac, is something that the parents cannot agree upon. The mother literally worships this guy while the father thinks he just needs bonding with males. Well, that's the problem...his bonding with males only leads him to "temptations". Even though Zac claims to be an athiest, his Catholic upbringing conflicts with his sexuality and temptations.

>Overall, I thought it was a wonderful film. However, in some ways, there was a little bit too much going on. Because of this, you might get the feeling that the film just dragged a little here and there. With a couple of edits, the movie would be perfect. In addition, this movie only came with subtitles. So, as a Deaf person, I was left out whenever English was spoken.

>Other than that, wonderful film about a Christmas boy's life in the 60's, 70's and 80's.
