The Only Diaper Bag You'll Need
I went through three Land's End diaper bags with my first two children -- they had all the compartments I needed and the Land's End name, but they just didn't hold up to constant abuse, food crumbs, zipper jams, etc. I've always equated the name Eddie Bauer with rugged outdoors stuff, and I took the chance and got this one for my third. I haven't regretted the move. It is spacious without being overly big, with pleny of compartments for diapers, wipes, toys, clothing changes, blankets, nursing pads and ointment, you name it. The outer pockets can hold bottle or, for other nursing moms like me, little toys you can quickly access to keep baby amused. The material is durable and easily cleaned, and it's not overly babyish with dancing animals all over it. It matches the Eddie Bauer travel system, too... definitely a must-have purchase for parents to be.

This bag is big, really BIG!
I never saw this bag in the store, I registered for it online since it matched the stroller we wanted. When I received it as a gift I could hardly believe how big it is. The bag is bigger than a backpack, but smaller than a carry-on-suitcase. Since I think it is so big I have only used it on weekend and overnight trips, it can easily hold 20 diapers, a blanket, a couple of sets of clothes, bottles, etc...everything needed for a weekend getaway. We are planning on visiting relatives for a weeklong trip and I'm going to pack baby clothes, wipes, blankets, and bottles in the bag. To save on space we are going to buy the baby food when we get there and wash clothes mid-way during our stay. So this bag can easily be used as the baby's suitcase on a trip.

Since the bag is so big, I can't use it for our short daily trips. I have another Eddie Bauer navy bag that is similar in size to the "mini Metro" bag that we use for everyday. It's perfect for a few diapers, blanket, wipes, one bottle, keys, and wallet.

This is a great bag!
I absolutely love this diaper bag. I also have the matching Metro Mini and they are both very good. This bag has plenty of room to hold everything I need for the baby for longer outings- I pack a hefty bag. I carry everything- extra outfits, receiving blankets, feeding items, diapers, wipes, changing pad, first aid and grooming items and sometimes a manual breast pump. etc. I also have plenty of room for my own items- a book, cell phone, car keys, etc. Another advantage of this bag is that it doesn't look girly, so my husband can carry it without feeling too silly- great for men to carry too! This bag is also very durable, and comfortable to carry. I love this diaper bag! I also recommend the Metro Mini that matches, for short trips where you don't need to carry much.
