Customer Reviews of Boudreaux's Butt Paste & Bobble Head Gift Set
No odor, love this stuff I used to work with children years before I had my own. The one thing I hated was the diaper rash oinment. The smells were awful, desitin, the smell just lingered. <

Thank you Dr. Boudreaux!
Butt Paste is an awesome product and definitely worth trying. I have read reviews from other websites and some indicated that it doesn't work and it doesn't have nearly as much Zinc Oxide as other brands, such as A&D and Desitin.

>1) More doesn't always mean better... Although the AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) recommends Zinc Oxide as the main ingredient for diaper rashes, higher amounts may not mean it will be more effective. For instance: Those who recall going through their teenage years - might remember the acne products that contained higher doses of benzoyl peroxide were actually counterproductive and caused further skin problems... Therefore, I point out for those who are skeptical - more doesn't always mean it works better.

>2) It is important to note there are different kinds of rashes. If your child has an allergy rash or a yeast rash - obviously this product is probably not going to work miracles on your darling child's tush. My daughter never had problems with diaper rash, but she does get occasional allergy rashes... I use the Butt Paste to help soothe the area and promote healing, but obviously due to the nature of her rash, it takes a few days to clear up. If the rash is really "bad" - be prepared for it to take a few days.

>3) Use liberally! At first I only spread a thin amount, but later noticed it worked better/faster when I applied a thicker amount.

>4) If you are concerned with spending such a large amount of money on a diaper ointment take the following advice: Go to Walmart (or Target, Walgreens) and buy a small tube for a few dollars (Walmart sells a travel size for $2). Give it a try - and if it works for you - I definitely recommend buying the 1 pound jar. Walmart.com sells it the cheapest at about $15 (plus s/h and tax it ends up around $20). It's definitely cheaper to buy the 1 pound jar - and it will last a long time!
Awesome Stuff!
My son had a yeast infection from medicine he was on for ear infection then got such terrible diaper rash he poor little butt was cracked and bleeding and it was the worst to try and change his diapers and the dr. kept telling me to keep thick layer of A&D on him, well I used to swear by A&D because it has always worked for me, not this time, it actually made it worse. So daycare suggested the "butt paste" and I tried it, oh my it cleared everything including the yeast infection in less than 24 hours. Thank you Dr. Boudreaux! I have a tube in every room in my house now. It it thick and pasty like peanut butter, and does not smell that bad actually, but it made my little guy feel much better!
