We have 2 SUV's (1 with the LATCH and 1 without) and this seat fits tight and snug in all three. It is VERY easy to install and my son who is a VERY tall 2 1/2 year old loves it.

Pro's:

1. The cushiness of the seat and sides are much better than almost every booster seat in it's class (trust me...I looked at them all).
2. The cup holder works GREAT and is easy to reach. I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about?
3. The armrests are great and have nice cushy foam on them.
4. There has never been a recall nor has this seat shown up on any "use with caution" reports/lists that I can find as the other reviewer states. In fact, consumer reports rated it very high in it's reviews.
5. It has nice side wings so my son has something to lay his head against if he falls asleep.

Cons:
1. The buckle in the front to tighten and loosen takes some getting used to, but it seems like every seat has a drawback and this isn't one that would keep me from recommending the seat.
2. The seat is VERY cushy everywhere, but in the lower back for some reason. We solved this by buying another piece of foam and inserting it in the lower back part of the seat. Problem solved.

Works Wonderful
We purchased this car seat after months of looking. So far we have been very pleased. We have had no problems except for the usual, where the straps might get a little twisted. This is to be expected with most car seats. Our daughter seems to be very comfy in her seat and it fits very snug in our vehicles. I would definately recommend this one.

We Like This Seat!!
After a couple weeks of research online as well as going to every store around to check booster/combo carseats out in person, we just purchased this seat. I had 3 car seats on my list of "acceptables" (based on reviews, opinions, government website reviews, you freakin' name it....) and this car seat was one of the ones on my list. It is very cushy, the foam covered arm rests are nice, but it really is designed for a more slender/slim child (I noticed this on other booster/carseat combos, not just this model). However, this was not a problem for us, and besides, if you're going to buy a carseat, have your child SIT in it first!!

We felt this was the best choice and fit for him. Roughly 20 minutes into his first ride in the seat, he fell asleep, lol. I don't know, but if that isn't an endorsement, I don't know what is!! (Especially since he rarely falls asleep in the car anymore!)

My husband installed the Evenflo Chase DLX and was in love with the ease of the whole LATCH system, and we're also using the factory installed tether strap as well. This seat is ROCK SOLID and doesn't move.

My only reservation (and thus why I didn't give a 5 star rating) is that the tightening mechanism is kind of strange (I've used Graco/Century for the past 3.5 years, so this is VERY different). I'm sure with daily practice I'll get better at it, but I prefer the tightening knob on the Evenflo Comet (however, the lack of a hard plastic lower back support ruled that one out - there's only a padded seat cover and no support.) Anyway, the mechanism is located on the right strap and you have to pull and jiggle (before locking the clip) to get it tightened, then clip it in and buckle, etc. I have no idea how it works as a booster, as we're not at that point yet.
