comfy, but not well made This towel is very soft, but ripped at the seam after the second time in the wash (on the extra gentle cycle). The Waverly towels held up better and are less expensive.

What a Wonderful (and Cute) Towel!
This is a great towel and oh, so cute! The baby isn't here yet, but this is one of my favorite items I have purchased. The towel measures about 29x29 inches and the washcloth about 10x10 inches. It is much thicker than most of the cheaper hooded towels that I remember using with my daughter. The hood is not lined, but is made of the same absorbent material as the rest of the towel. The octopus is satin stitched in place so it won't fall off like an applique. All I can say is that this is one great towel, and I'm planning on getting the turtle and duck ones, too.
