I can't argue with the sound quality (although you definitely hear contact with the wire -- probably unavoidable with a light-weight wire). <

The ER6's are definitely worth the investment; I wish I woulda knew about them years ago, so I would've saved money on all the crappy earbuds I've had over the years. <
