Not pleased with design of the seat cushion
I purchased 2 of this particular booster seat for my boys after reading all of the reviews (and having previous good experience with Evenflo car seats). I ended up bringing the booster seats back to the store though, because the seat cushion kept coming out of the holes. I went to Target to purchase the Big Kid Deluxe and noticed that Evenflo does not even make the seats that way anymore. Apparently, I'm not the only one who had this particular problem. I also noticed that the date of manufacture of the car seat I bought at Toys 'R Us was March of 2003, the one I purchased at Target was December of 2004 (much better manufacture date, considering the length of use of a booster)

Great big kid carseat!
My son loves his big kid booster seat. He is 3 years old and 39 lbs, so he needed to move out of his convertible carseat soon. Since your child will be belted in with the car's seatbelt, not a carseat harness, the child must be mature enough to keep the seatbelt buckled and to sit well in the seat. At first my son had some trouble getting comfortable when falling asleep, but now I just keep his blanket or a pillow available. Overall a great affordable carseat.

Great Booster for Older Child!
I spent a lot of time researching booster seats for my 7 year old. It was important to me that the seat of the booster was really comfortable, and of course safe, since she would be traveling a lot in it. It came down to the Evenflo Big Kid and the Graco Turbo. They both are great seats, but felt the Evenflo padding in the seat was a little more substantial and comfortable. We have had the seat for about 6 months and she is really happy with it. She especially likes the cup holders since we snack on our road trips and is able to sleep fine in it. <

>I would recommend this booster for children who are older and are in need of having a seat after they grow out of their harness booster. My daughter is soon to be eight and has no problems still being in a booster. I am sure the Evenflo Big Kid has something to do with it!!
