Emotionally Moving This movie seems to come right from the heart of Angelina. Showing the plight of the parts of the world that many turn their heads to is enlightening. The chemistry between Angelina and Clive was awesome. I am now a HUGE Clive Owen fan. <

Everyone should see this movie.
This movie is so powerful. It forces the viewer to take a look at things we here in the U.S. don't normally see. I think this should be shown in every school and home in America. Maybe then people and especially today's generation of children would see how easy we have it here and appreciate what we have, and learn to help others less fortunate and give, and show compassion. I am a huge fan of Angelina Jolie's, but for once, her presence is not what makes this movie. It's the content itself. It wouldn't matter who had the star role here.
Where does the acting let off and real life begin?
I suppose it is a good thing that Jolie is now the spokesperson for the St. John line of clothing and is bearing a rich man's child because she won't have to depend on her acting ability to support herself and her growing brood (move over Mia Farrow). This movie is really a total waste of time, I only rented because I am a Clive Owen completist anyhow. Unbelieveably lame plot, unconscionable use of genuine starving people as extras, really not much to redeem it in any way except Owen's brief performance. I beg you to donate the money you would spend on this drivel to an organization that offers hunger relief or birth control information. Actually maybe someone should share some birth control information with Jolie herself. Great role model for impressionable young women? Not!
