Customer Reviews of Bently Bear Harmony Hc
LOVE THIS HIGHCHAIR I recieved this high chair at my baby shower. It slides easily up to our kitchen table so baby can eat with us. It has three reclining features so an infant can sit at the table too. The tray can be removed and the baby remains in the high chair safely. It was a little tricky to put togther, but Graco doesn't give the best set of directions with any of thier products I'm finding out. If your looking for a great highchair at a great price I say go with this one.
Not the high chair it's touted as being
I bought this high chair yesterday (6/23) due to the high user rating online. It was easy to assemble out of the box. The one-hand adjustments don't work very well, but they may loosen over time. This high chair, however, is going to be returned today. The tray stains so easily! I have never seen anything like it, but the material was not well-chosen for a high chair. After one feeding of a jar of sweet potatoes, the surface of the tray was hopelessly stained. No detergent or scrubbing would remove the discoloration. So I'm thinking to myself, how grubby will this thing look after a month of baby meals? I called Graco's customer service, and they stated that the tray is not stain-resistant (how silly!) and agreed that this fact should be mentioned in the literature. Also, people who can fit the trays into their dishwasher must have a real monster of a machine, because the only way the tray will fit into my dishwasher (a full-sized unit) is if it's loaded by itself -- and just barely. Overall, the design of this unit is fine, albeit a bit too "plastic-y" and does not fold very compactly; however, the materials chosen for the trays was poorly picked and should deter anyone from considering this unit.
Pinching Arms and Bad Height Adjustment
My daughter's arms are constantly being pinched between the tray and the seat and there is no way to avoid this. Perhaps if the tray were more adjustable and have more positions to click in, we could avoid the painful pinching. Also, I have a standard height dining table and the highchair will not just pull right up as advertised. Yes, the curved legs would allow for it, but the height adjustment doesn't. And the height adjustment itself is quite difficult and sticks often, not allowing for smooth adjustments.
