One of the best taiolring books on the market
I checked this book out at my local library when I tailored my first suit. I knew nothing about the techniques to make a professional-looking suit, but this book guided me step by step from beginning to end. There are many speed tailoring books out there, but it is hard to find a book on the classic tailoring methods that have been used for centuries. It has consise drawings that are color coded, which eliminates confusion about what side one is working on in a particular step. It also includes fitting instructions, modifying a pattern, and choosing the right fabric and tools for the job. The glossary really helps someone who is not familiar with tailoring terms. I understand this book is out of print, but I am still trying to find a copy for my library.It is worth the search and the money if you find one!
