Plastic is Better!
I have extensively researched all garage storage products--and this product keeps coming up at the top of the list. This unit is easy to clean-can be power washed at a low setting. Most garages are usually humid and not well insulated--other laminate products or cardboard made tend to expand/warp with exposure to moisture. The doors are difficult to align, with some patience (soft rubber mallet hammer) can be adjusted in place. Not recommended for outdoor use. Overall durable-somewhat clumsy when moving.

Really disappointed!
Very poor quality. The doors are difficult to open and close and don't align correctly. This is definitely not weatherproof as there are spaces where water, bugs, etc. could get in. Assembly was not a problem. Even though I purchased this on sale, it's still not worth the money. I'm going to actually go through the hassle of taking it apart and returning it. Not what I would expect from a name like Rubbermaid.

Perfect for the garage!
I just returned from visiting my elderly parents. We happened upon the larger version of this item inadvertently while shopping for other items within the same aisle, however, my folks were in the market for a storage cabinet and we intended to go over to another retailer to purchase one. Anyway, assembly of this item could not have been easier with basically all the parts interchangeable. Everything seemed to fit snugly, creating a very sturdy piece. It's crafted with the substantial plastic Rubbermaid is known for and is defintely not an eye sore. It's not really made to hold heavy items on the upper shelves, so we placed those on the bottom.
