Customer Reviews of BabyGo Portable Travel Yard in SeaMist
it's a winner! We have the BabyGo in Silly Safari print and I really like it. I used it downstairs (not wanting to go upstairs for every diaper) as a changing table and kind of a staging area for baths. It is heavy and the directions were a little hard to understand the first time. Baby is now 14 months & we still use it as a port-a-crib for trips & Grandma's house. Never had a problem with it. Love the carry case. However, I tend not to use it & just transport it as the frame w/ the "floor" wrapped around it. Don't do that because the little handle on the base of the frame just isn't meant to be a carrying handle for the whole thing. Give it a try and educate all the grandparents. :) Now that Graco has come out with the new sport playyard I would go for that since I have a toddler. But for changing 10 diapers a day, this is your best bet!
Good for price
I bought this play yard because of the full size bassinet and the pattern. It has the diaper changing attachment with pockets on one end to store miscellaneous items and toys and it has a toy bar to keep baby entertained. The light and sound unit that comes with is moveable to put where ever you want and it has lullabies, heartbeat, and nature sounds. The light is soft enough that you can see what you are doing yet not wake baby.
I gave this four stars because the instructions are kinda difficult to understand and if its your first time putting together a play yard it can be frustrating. Collapsing it took both me and my fiancee and it is on the heavy side. One HUGE plus to this is that it has wheels AND it the carrying bag has handles, something most Graco models don't have. The pattern is very pretty and neutral enough for a boy or a girl.
Works well
So far our Baby Go has been fantastic. The set up was easy, although I have not tried taking it down yet. As my daughter (3 weeks old) sleeps mainly in the changing table we use the top layer to hold her things. We also use the second layer to store items we need later on.
My husband and I do have one complaint though. The Baby Go needs extendable legs to make it taller. We are not tall by any stretch of the imagination (he- 5' 7" me- 5' 4") but we both find ourselves bending over to change diapers.
