Customer Reviews of BabyBjorn Original Carrier - City Black
Very happy with this Love it because: <
>1. When baby is in it, I feel he's held securely. <
>2. Baby seems very cozy since he's suggled to me, and I love keeping him close. He sometimes fell asleep in it as I walked around with him in it. <
>3. I couldn't get one of those slings to work for us, and this worked out nicely. <
>4. As my baby got a little older and taller, he wanted to look around, and the Baby Bjorn allowed him to look left and right while supporting his head/neck. <
>5. When traveling, it made it a lot easier on me. On the bus from long-term parking to the terminal, we found that there were no seat belts. Having him in the Baby Bjorn seemed to be the safest place for him in such a situation. <
>6. It's a little embarrassing, but I was able to the restroom with him in the carrier. <

>Something else to think about: <
>1. When walking upstairs or sitting down, I felt like his legs were in the way of my legs, and at first I was worried that my legs were bending his legs the wrong way. It never seemed to bother him, but it felt a little awkward to me. I don't think this is a flaw in the carrier's design b/c where else are your baby's legs gonna go? <
>2. Once my baby got good head control, I put him in the carrier facing out. He laughed the first time I put him facing out and we stood in front of a mirror, probably b/c we looked funny. It doesn't feel awkward to walk upstairs or sit down when he's facing out. But I felt like the carrier was putting pressure on his crotch. Also, I thought we looked sorta ridiculous. We just looked funny with him facing out and his legs and arms dangling out. So I kept him facing me. He got a little squirmy though, b/c he wanted to see out and turn around. <
>3. The carrier's weight limit is 22lbs or something like that, but my baby is now 21lbs (6 mo) and although he still fits fine in it, his weight wears down on my back after a while. Plus, I think my baby just wants to see all around him now. So I got a Hip Hammock, which is for older babies and has a higher weight limit. The Baby Bjorn was great, though, for my baby up to about 20 lbs. <

Awesome!
This baby carrier is the best ever. Worth every penny. I used it with both my girls until they were about 8 months old. I loved it, and they both loved it being babies that had to be held all the time. Frees your hands and makes life easier.
Excellent Carrier
I could not live without my BabyBjorn Carrier. The carrier is comfortable for both you and baby, easy and fast to put on and take off and allows both hands free. You can go for long walks, get house work done and shop while keeping baby happy and content.
