A lifesaver!
Even so this is an incredibly expensive carrier it has been worth every cent for us. My baby daughter loves it. If she is cranky or has a tummy ache I just carry her around in it for a while and she stops crying almost every time. After she had to be hospitalized with newborn sepsis at three weeks she got very scared every time we left the house. If I kept her in the carrier facing me, she could snuggle up to me and usually calmed down. I didn't mind even carrying her for long times. It is very comfortable. <

>Once she got old (and brave) enough to sit in the carrier facing outwards we had the first and only problem. The top does not stay folded down for a long time unless I hold it and she gets mad if it flips back up and she can't see. <

Best Carrier Ever!
I had a cheaper carrier for my first child and it was horrible...My lower back would hurt after five minutes of carrying her. This time I spent the money for the Bjorn with the lower back support and I can carry my baby around all day with out any pain. Well worth the investment!
