Life Saver! We received this as a shower gift. Once our son was born, he lived in this chair! We kept it in the living room and he slept in this all the time! At first we used rolled up blankets on the sides to cushion him in tight. It's like a hammock for babies. My husband and I say all the time we wish they'd make this for adults, the fabric is so soft! Our son is 6 months old now, and we still use this. It's so awesome because it is relaxing and plays soft music and vibrates, unlike the bouncy seats and others that stimulate babies, this one promotes REST!!! I highly recommend it, I don't know what we would've done without it. We also have the papasan swing, and he still loves it too!
A great option.
I really like this seat. It is not so flashy and mechanical as the others I saw, it was soothing and cuddly and comfortable - perhaps more for me than my newborn! - but I felt a lot better about putting him in this one than one with plastic and lights and tinny music. The only drawback is it is a little small, and my son's feet stick way past it already at 5 months.
Perfect for newborns
We loved this and used it daily for the first 8 weeks of my son's life. We have a small house so it was a nice, compact option to have someplace other than his bassinet for him to sleep during the day during those first couple of months. He would even hang out in it happily awake.

>Once he hit the two month point he started to prefer his bouncy chair for hanging out and we used the baby papasan less frequently. Now that he is 3 months old I want him napping in his own room so I packed the baby papasan up and put it away to use with the next baby.
