A WONDERFUL Toy! We bought this toy for our daughter's 1st birthday, because we are all big Baby Einstein fans, and she just absolutely loves it! One of her very first phrases she spoke was from this toy, she sings 'Eei, eei, oooo'. She has also learned to say most of the animals names on the toy. We have had this toy almost 4 months, and our daughter plays with it every day, as well as my 5 day care children and it has not broken, ripped, faded or have been damaged in any way. I find it to be VERY durable, and DO NOT find it to be excessively louder than most musical toys. It is one of the few toys my husband and I actually LIKE to listen to,lol! I think it is definatley worth the cost, and will bring lots of enjoyment to any child!
Our 10 month old loves it
Our 10 month old daughter loves it. She will grab for that toy out of her big basket of toys. She loves to take out each animal. It sings the old MacDonald song.
Cute but LOUD
We bought this toy for our 18 mo. old daughter and 7 mo. old son. The animals sounds and songs are cute and they really enjoy the "nesting puzzle". BUT, there is no volume control and it is really loud. So, we used some tape to cover the speaker in order to dull the volume a little bit. Of course, 18 mo. old daughter got the tape off and re-stuck the tape on the inside of the toy which is a paper scene and then tried to remove the tape thus ripping some of the picture off. Very disappointing.
