Customer Reviews of Baby Basics - Knit Crib Sheet - Pink
Great fit for Babee Tenda crib My husband and I decided to invest in a Babee Tenda crib with our first child because of the safety ratings but found that the(convertable)crib was difficult to fit with standard size sheets (they tell you they will fit). The company provides two with the package I got but I wanted more (especially sine we planned on more kids). These knit sheets stretch and adjust to the different size, stay in place great and have minimal shrinkage compaired to standard cotton sheets. The only other sheets I have that fit are the ones from Babee Tenda, and some I bought from the Speigel outlet. The weight is good for year round use since they are thin weight for summer, and warmer than standard cotton for winter. I love that they come in a variety of colors to match any theme too. <

>:) Buy several and also get some flat crib pads, here is why... To avoid having to find and change crib sheets at 2am when you have "a mess", layer the sheets and crib pads directly on the mattress. When you have a 2am mess, you just pull off the top sheet and pad and the bed is ready to go. I have yet to have a mess run over the side of the pad underneath. I found this time in a parenting suggestion article and have used it. It works great! This also helps having to have extra storage space for the sheets & pads.
Holes
I purchased 2 of these sheets, one in ecru and one in white. Both of them had small holes in them right out of the package. More have appeared after several uses and several runs through the washing machine. Kind of like the tiny holes that start appearing in t-shirts after they've been worn over and over again. They are nice and soft, but they need to make them a little thicker to stand up to the wear and tear.
Knit Crib Sheet is Much Heavier
I bought three crib sheets, only the yellow one was knit. I didn't really pay attention to the make up of the sheet, as much as I did the color. After receiving the sheets, the knit one was $1.00 more, and twice as thick, definitely worth the upgrade. The cotton sheets (..) are quite thin, and wrinkle terrible. They are the same quality you would find at Wal-Mart. Not a bad price, but not high quality either.
