Great piece of equipment This monitor works great and allows me to just turn on the switch to see if my son is ok if he cries out in the night. Disagree with other reviews that say only works in rural as I live in suburban Washington DC (and I have never had to turn off any other electronic equip in house.) I only wish I would have bought the one with two cameras so I can have one on my son who is 2 and one on my newborn. Plan to order one from manufacturer. Definitely in my top 3 things a family must have!
Terrible waste of money!
My husband and I bought this video monitor thinking we were getting the latest technology in baby monitors. Boy, were we wrong! The picture we got was nothing but static and lines and the sound was nothing but high-pitched squealing! We returned it the same day and bought the Safety 1st brand, but hated that too. Don't spend your money on video until they improve the technology. You'll be throwing the extra $100 out the window!
LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!!
I purchased this monitor about 3 months ago and I love it. At first I had a little trouble with clarity of the picture, but after some antennae adjustments, it works great! I just set up the second camera for the new baby that's due in May and I initially had the same problems. But after a little frustration and some patience it's all clear. I do have to say that the audio part of the monitor is extra sensitive (I can hear my daughter breath while she's sleeping)it does emit a static noise if it's turned up very loud. But that doesn't bother me, since I bought if for the view and not the sound. I love being able to look at her from my bed if I feel the need, or if she calls out at night. My husband and I have had some great nights watching what she actually does when we put her down to sleep at night.(sings, claps hands, plays with feet....etc) I recommend this product highly.
