Average, at best
We purchased a similar travel system - the Aura Elite - before the birth of our son. After 7 months, we are now in the market for a new stroller, as this one is average, at best. Overall, I would not recommend the purchase of this system. Here are some pros and cons:
<
>
<
>PROS:
<
>1. Handles very well - steers easy and will go just about anyhwere.
<
>2. Works well with infant carrier.
<
>3. Lots of storage space including large basket underneath, large parent cupholders, and storage box on top. Will accomodate the largest of diaper bags along with shopping bags, etc.
<
>4. Stroller's sun shade unlatches and rotates forward to allow you to block sun from different angles.
<
>5. Nice styling and coloring.
<
>6. Folds down relatively easy - can be done with one hand if necessary.
<
>7. Infant seat installed easily into both our car and truck (Toyota Camry & Tundra) utiling both lap/shoulder belt and LATCH system. An extra car seat base can be purchased at BRU.
<
>8. Buckles on infant seat are easy to adjust as baby grows - just takes a quick look at the owner's manual and a little common sense.
<
>9. The "utility" tray on the stroller is nice for baby's toys and our son loves to use it as a "foot rest".

<
>CONS:
<
>1. Infant seat sits very upright, even when "level", causing very young infants to slump constantly. Our older infant's head slumped forward when ever he fell asleep.
<
>2. Handle of infant seat does not seem very sturdy once baby approaches 15+ pounds.
<
>3. Shade on infant seat will not stay in place in the car - falls down under seat.
<
>4. Material on infant seat is thin and tears easily.
<
>5. Stroller is VERY large - hard to maneuver down aisles and in stores while shopping. Rear wheels are wider than front wheels causing you to run into clothing racks, etc. Takes up a lot of trunk space in your car.
<
>6. Stroller is VERY heavy - consider this when lugging in and out of the car/truck.
<
>7. Clear plastic "window" on stroller sun shade does not have a velcro flap to cover it - sun usually goes through window and onto baby. We have to cover it with a blanket.
<
>8. Stroller cannot be opened up with one hand. You must use a different lever than what is used to fold it down.
<
>9. When in the fully/partial reclined position, the baby's feet are elevated above its head.
<
>10. When put in the upright position, the back support is still at an angle and baby cannot sit "upright" unless he leans forward on his own. And his feet are higher up in the air because the seat "dips" (see #9 above).
<
>11. The Utility Tray at the front of the stroller hits the ground when the stroller is folded, leaving marks/dirt on the tray.
<
>12. The head support that comes with the infant seat is flimsy - we had to buy a separate one and use it until our son outgrew the infant seat.

Safety concern
The base part of the car seat keeps collapsing. There are 3 levels to choose from to make it the right angle in your particular vehicle, mine needs to be on level 3, but when I tighten it down it goes back down to level 1. If I do happen to get it to stick on 3, by the time I get where I'm going and take my daughter out, it's back down on 1 again. This makes the base too loose and makes baby tilt too far forward.

>The stroller is okay, had no trouble with the one-handed fold down. But the seat reclines back too far and she can't sit all the way up, she gets frustrated easily (7 1/2 months) by this because she likes to look around and can't because of the semi-recline position she has to be in. The cup holders are nice and so is the large storage area. Kinda hard to steer though.
