Customer Reviews of Aria Twin LB Stroller - Chesapeake Print
Fantastic stroller This is a wonderful stroller - lightweight, pushes and turns easily, and very durable (we've used it for dozens of flights and we always gate check it). No cupholder or snack trays on ours but the current version has these. The main negatives are:
1. Because of the necessary width of the stroller, it just barely fits through normal doorways and can be very frustrating to squeeze through.
2. Doesn't fold up a whole lot so it requires a lot of trunk space, and doesn't go through airport x-ray machines so requires extra time for a physical inspection.
My 3 1/2 year old and 16 month old both love this stroller - especially the older one who loves being able to climb in and out by himself (after removing the plastic bar for his seat).
can it take a primo viagio car seat??
i have been shopping around for a twin stroller, i have a 13 month old and i am expecting a second baby in 4 months. i love the peg perego and i wanted to know if i could use the twin aria with the car seat "primo viagio" that i used with the single peg perego stroller? does anyone know ????? and if yes, does it snap on or just fit into the space?
This stroller convinced me to buy a double stroller
I really did not want to buy a double stroller. I have a barely 2 year old and an infant. I told myself "the toddler can walk, and I can carry the baby in the maya wrap." That does work for some of the time, but I found that the task of going anywhere was daunting enough to keep me home most days. As much as I love to snuggle my babe in the sling, it can be difficult to chase a toddler that way. So, I decided to go and look at a few double strollers. The first few I looked at made me feel like I was driving a car when pushing them. I knew that those strollers would definitely not inspire me to go anywhere and I would be better off just using the sling and chasing my toddler. Then, I found the Peg Perego Aria Twin.
This stroller is wonderful. It is lightweight and easy to manuever. This was important for us because my MIL likes to take walks around the block with our toddler, and we knew the baby would soon want to join in. But, she isn't strong enough to handle the heavier versions. I laugh when I read reviews that say the weight doesn't matter because all you do is lift it in and out of the car. But, it does make a difference when pushing it, too! The Aria Twin seems well-made and durable. It is also comfortable for the little ones. I honestly think it's easier to fold and manuever than our old single Graco stroller.
My only complaints are that the hoods don't do much good (unless reclined) and there are no cup holders for the kids (I couldn't give it 5 stars with no cup holder for my toddler who tends to throw her sippy cup if she doesn't have a place to put it). There is one for the adult, but it's rather small. It will fit a smaller cup, a can, or a bottle of water, though.
Overall, I'm more than thrilled with our purchase.
