Coordinates Well Enough
I snatched this rug up as soon as I found it. It was the last one in the store. I loved it. <
>One customer claimed that it's too dark and dosen't match the bedding. I have to disagree. It can't match exactly because it's made of a completly different material. It's a woven rug, not cotton bedding. I love the fact that it's darker in color. It may be a bit darker, but it coordinates well with the rest of my sons room. Our carpet is a medium gray, we ordered cherry furniture and the cushions on our rocker are a different shade of blue than what's in the bedding, but it all works. <
>Different shades of blue can go together. Same with greens. We have enough wall art (including hanging the quilt that comes in the set) that nobody's initial attention is drawn to the floor. Everyone immediatly gravitates to the furniture and the bedding itself. <
>If you are having doubts about the rug, I would say, don't. It's an accent piece. One which is intended to coordinate with the bedding and can't possibly match it exactly. If you know anything about decorating, you'll feel totally comfortable buying it and knowing it will go well. <

>My ONLY complaint about the rug is that when placed on carpet, it moves around a lot from being stepped on. The backing on the rug is made of a non-slip material for tile or hardwood flooring, but on carpet it doesnt stay exactly put. Nothing I can't live with.

Color too dark
The Arcadia bedding set is beautiful with it's pastel tones. The valance is a perfect match, however, the rug is a much deeper blue and doesn't coordinate (except for the matching) animals with the pastel hues we took from the bedding to paint the walls. 3 people viewing our nursery agreed with me on the color not matching. It draws your eye to the floor. Otherwise, a cute rug.
