A rare feature among hard-anodized cookware, Anolon Titanium is actually dishwasher-safe. However, it offers cooks many advantages long before cleanup time. Constructed of extra-thick aluminum, these heavy pots and pans conduct heat quickly and uniformly (no hot spots) and won't warp. Their handsome, charcoal gray exterior is harder than steel and resists scratching and denting. Inside, they're coated with DuPont's exceptionally durable Autograph nonstick that readily releases food. Stainless-steel handles wear an attractive satin finish. Unlike conventional hard-anodized pots and pans, this cookware is dishwasher-safe because its titanium-composite exterior is nonporous. Nevertheless, its virtue of being dishwasher-safe is not unlimited.
