I came across this book while I was away at sleepaway camp for the first time at Vasser Collage. One of my older friends, Ashley, was reading this book and I got interested. I spent my remaning $20 on this book, and let me tell you! This book is so much more than just a textbook, it helped me explore, for the first time, the world of DNA. Now I am usinf this book for a biography of Abraham Lincoln, and its helping drasticly. Now I am even more sure that when I grow up, I want to be an epidemiologest. If I could choose any book for a favorite, this would be mine! I would highly recomend this book for anyone whose careeer path is similar to mine, of anyone skilled in the medical feild, or anyone looking for a long, interesting, read.

Outstanding Medical Reference Text
This book is one of the finest medical textbooks I've ever seen put together. I have never seen a more thorough book on the human anatomy. This was the first medical textbook I aquired and it has proven useful on countless occasions.

This book is about the human anatomy, conditions and diseases. There is little physiology and pathophysiology in the book, which makes this a more practical, easy to use and read text. Excellent art and easy to understand terms make this book applicable to those who haven't been through medical school or had extensive medical training. I own numerous texts that focus on the human anatomy and this one is by far superior to all of them. This book is one of the finest in my library. It is a shame that this book is no longer being produced.

This book would be suitable to all EMT's, paramedics, nurse's and medical students. Even those that don't work in the field can benefit greatly from Anatomica. It is a wonderful reference that deserves a spot in any library worth its salt.

This book is everything you need to know to look after your family. The First Aid section is invaluable and almost any condition that you hear about is found in this book. It is in alphabetical order for easy access and has lots of pictures to show the parts of the body. I recommend it to any family as a book that will keep your family in good health. It is well worth this price for piece of mind. The CD Rom that accompanies it is fantastic.
