I hesitated for awhile in buying this CD, thinking that it was just too much of the local scene for me. Wow, I was mistaken! I listen to this CD almost everyday, finding new nuances and my appreciation for local Washington, D.C. music growing. I now listen only to my local music -- Last Train Home, the Grandsons, Scott McKnight...

Glowing with neon-cool intensity, Americana Motel is open for business in the honky-tonks of the homeland.
