Mom and Baby happy with 2nd choice!
This was my 2nd choice, (my first being the Advantage V), and I am very happy with it. I just got it today and have had no problems...it isn't as padded as the Advantage but that's a small price to pay for how unsafe i felt my daughter was in the Advantage. The harness never seemed to tighten right and it was so hard rear-facing because the part you tighten rests right against the car seat..ON THE BOTTOM. And my daughter didn't like the car seat, I'm not sure the whole reason that was. I took it back and got this one, and am so happy. As well as my daughter. My only complain being that it needs more padding on the bottom and lower back, i just stuck some thin towels in there though, to ease my mind. It is so easy to get her in and out of and she falls right to sleep, without slumping over and she loves the side places on the overhead to put her toys and her snack. she is 8 1/2 months and 23 lbs. i feel that she is strapped in safetly and i don't worry when i drive that somethings too loose., as i did with the Advantage. It was easy to install, i have a 90 corolla. it is tall, but i can see over it and out the back easily. all in all, i'm satisfied and happy that i found it. Thank you Graco :) Also an excellent price for such good quality. I wanted to add, i did have to place a rolled towel underneath to get her reclined BUT what's also great about this seat is that there's a level indicator on the side that says when your seat is safely reclined.

shield is not a safety feature
I feel bad for those who have the arm pop off, but you need to remember that the sheild is NOT a safety feature. It is there for basically playing. I had called Graco a couple years ago asking about it and the 5 point harness. That shield can get in the way if you were in an accident. I'm not saying you shouldn't buy this seat because it is really easy to use and the shield is nice for playing. Just remember it's the harness straps that will save your childs life when installed properly.Britax is the #1 carseat makers, and in my eyes, Graco is #2. Those who've had it fall apart, it may just be a product defect.

Great in accidents!!! All together a good car seat!!!
My seat was in two accidents and my daughter was NOT hurt in any way what so ever!! In my opinion the sheld acress the front saved my my baby from any injures! This car seat is so easy to use. I love the little cup thing on the sides of the seat i put her cup on one side and snack on the other! It is safe and inexpensive!!
