Cafe Blue's -- It's a good night for the Blues is an outstanding CD. If you are a first time blues fan or a veteran this is a great CD easy to listen to. Self produced the band keys in on a down to earth subtle approach to playing the blues. The horns by Russ Hoffer are hot and the keyboard played by Keith Lewis is equally good. The entire band has put lots of energy into this album and I can't wait to hear their next --- Keep singing the bluses guys.

All these guys have played on the local, regional, and national scene most of their adult lives; that they came together in this place at this time is a wonder. I thoroughly enjoyed this CD. Coast can be placed in the mist of the blues greats. The CD has it all from the swing sound on Rumba to the classic blues on Good night for the blues. In two words, "Loved It!" I can't wait for the next offering from this band..
