Does Not Read Memory Stick PRO This unit features a decent price, however it does not read my Memory Stick PRO memory sticks. Putting one of these into the unit makes it shut down.
Works perfectly
Did nothing but pull device out of package, plug into my USB Port (XP machine) and done. Literally a 5 second installation.
Works perfectly. It shows up as four removable drives inside Explorer. I popped in the memory card from my digital camera, copied twenty-some pictures to my hard-drive and it was done nearly instantly.
This device claims USB 2.0 while most similar are USB 1.x.....while I cannot verify the precise speed nor confirm 2.0 speed, this file transfer was extremely quick and certainly 100 times faster than my normal camera xfer via it's own USB cable.
At this price, and USB 2.0.....cool.
