so special!
I decided to go with a lavender color theme instead of the usual pink for my expected baby girl. Most stores that I looked at had nice pink sets, however all the lavender sets had some kind of green plaid, which I did not like. When I saw this item online, it looked beautiful, and just what I had in mind. I just recieved the bedding and I can not stop looking at it and calling all my friends to tell them how beautiful it is.!!! I am a designer myself, and quality as well as design are both important factors for me, This set is cleverly/beautifuly designed and coordinated. The quality is very good. It is 100% cotton, (except for the dust ruffle which is mixed, and that is OK!), the bumper is not fluffy, it is nice and flat, which makes for a safer bumper, (the fluffy ones are like a step for the baby to get out of the crib-unsafe)
The bed sheet has elastic all around , not just on the corners, which makes it safer and more secure! and is so soft!
I also ordered all the matching items, and have a beautiful look going, the walls I will paint half way in lavender and use the border wall paper as a seperation between the top white and bottom lavender wall color!
Also the price is great most bed sets can range from $250-$650
and the cheaper ones are only 4 pieces or ALL polyester.
So I think this is the best deal
Nothing beets this one!!!!!!

Beautiful. . .
I too wanted something other than the normal pink for my soon to-be born daughter. We purchased this set because it is absolutely beautiful. I wanted the butterfly theme as well. Each butterfly has a different design, which makes it unique. They have a tiny bit of light pink in them, so you can add pink to the nursery also. It looks great on my white crib with my white furniture. The lavender and white really compliment each other. I am happy with it and recommend it to others.

beautiful...even after 15 mos of use
I bought this as a shower gift for my sister-in-law when she and my brother were expecting their first daughter about 15 mos. ago. Not only is it absolutely adorable, it has held up very well. It still looks perfect!

I was online looking for bedding for my 2nd niece (due in July) and just happened to read the other reviews on this item again. I thought some might be interested in durability. While I did see one customer who indicated that their bedskirt seemed thin and that it didn't hold up well, this was not the case for the one I purchased.

Please note that the editorial review's description is incorrect...there are no mushrooms and NO PINK in this set at all! It is exactly as pictured.

I hope that the set I purchase for my new niece (going with Gossamer wings I think) holds up as well!
