World's Best Beatles Parody With an amazing ability to take the English lyrics and apply similar sounding French lyrics, but with hilarious results, Woelfel and Les Bidochons have created music that sounds in some cases almost exactly like the Beatles. Of course, the French meanings are completely different and highly irreverent. As a long time Beatles fan, I was interested in the music, the reggae version of Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, and the hard rock version of Hey Jude, but became even more of a Les Bidochons fan when I learned the meanings of the French lyrics. Their Rolling Stones parody is also a gem, particularly their version of Jumpin' Jack Flash. The Cranberries, Led Zeppelin, the Sex Pistols, Radiohead and Nirvana have all been parodied by this inventive band that deserves more attention by the world.
