Customer Reviews of 2006 Fleur Quest Mod Stroller - Pink
Worth Every Penny! Spoil yourself and your child. I bought this stroller for our trip to Disney. Last year we experienced the trip with a bulky stroller that was too much to haul around. This stroller had the features I wanted: storage, recline for comfortable napping, quick access storage on the back (convenient for camera, a drink, keys, etc.), lightweight and easy to fold up. <

>I was thrilled that I got all of that and more. It comes with a rain hood that was perfect for the passing rain storm, my daughter had someplace dry to sit and we were off and running again. <

>This is also the first stroller I've had that is easy to clean. After throwing it in the wash I didn't need an engineering degree to get the seat cover back on. <

>And the bonus...all the "awwwww"'s from passersby over the pretty pink stroller. I highly recommend this stroller.
Oh so worth it!
I bought this for my third baby after having seen MacLarens for years and thinking that they were too expensive for me and for an umbrella stroller. Well.....after having been through so many travel systems and various strollers throughout the years (which adds up to way more money than this one costs), I bought this one. I finally had a daughter so I thought, why not pink flowers :).

>Since my daughter has to keep up with her big brothers' activities, I had to have a sturdy yet lightweight stroller so I wouldn't break my back hauling everything. This great little Maclaren hauls everything! It has a large basket underneath (well, HUGE by umbrella stroller standards - I was surprised at how big and STURDY this basket is), PLUS it has a HUGE pocket on the back of the canopy that can hold my drinks, their drinks, keys, toys, food, etc. I'm just amazed at the storage capacity on this thing.

>It will tip over though if you have everything balanced on the back (i.e. shopping bags strung over the handle bars) with the baby as counterweight on the front. When you take your baby out, keep a foot on the footrest so it doesn't tip over, then put your diaper bag or coat or shopping bag in the seat. Since I have 3 kids, I usually have to load up the stroller with coats, food, the baby (LOL), etc. My daughter loves to fall asleep in this and it's so easy and quiet to do, I just slip the backrest back gently and she's out. The shade doesn't come all the way down like a Perego shade, but that's alright since it also comes with a raincover standard.

>This little device handles so smoothly and efficiently that people are amazed at the tight spots that I can get into and out of with my daughter in this. It turns on a dime, turns right around with barely even moving it. And the handle bars are heavenly! Nice, thick, soft grip. No cupholders but who cares? I bought a Prince Lionheart attachable one ($5) and wrapped it around the handlebars, so now I can drink my coffee and put it in the cupholder easily. When I have more drinks, I just pop them safely into the deep canopy pocket.

>I also like it that even though it's a 5 point harness, you can unsnap the upper two shoulder harnesses if you don't want to use them. I hate shoulder harnesses so these are unsnapped on mine. The belt clip is a little hard to get on and off, but that's because they wanted to make it harder for the kiddo to unsnap him/herself from the stroller later on. You get used to it fast. They build these strollers with a long time frame in mind - baby to toddler (I've seen 10 year old Maclarens on eBay getting $100), unlike every other manufacturer who builds useless travel systems or flimsy umbrella strollers. And an excellent resale value should you be done having babies and want to get some of your investment back. Can't do that with a travel system!

>This is surely one of the best baby investments I made (along with the Britax seat). Too bad it took me 3 babies to get there! Save yourself some money and buy the Maclaren stroller that you will have for three more kids!
Almost like not having a baby with you...
I had anxiety attacks over the price of this stroller, but after years of trying to manuever a bulky cheaper stroller in tight spots I finally bit the bullet and bought a Quest for my third baby (who gets dragged to swim class, ballet, school pickup and dropoff, errands, etc.). And it is amazing.

>I can steer this puppy with one finger while pushing the baby and carrying a three-year-old in meltdown mode; it weighs a mere 12 lbs. so tossing it in and out of the back of my SUV is a breeze, it folds up one-handed so I can fold it with a baby in my other arm; it is small, light, nimble and turns on a dime. I even went thru a revolving door with it. Try doing THAT with your bulky travel system! It is light enough that I can pick it up, baby and all, and carry it up and down steps, the recline is easy to adjust, it feels very solid and sturdy despite the light weight, and while I wouldn't recommend it for extensive outdoor use, it handles surprisingly well on sidewalks and pavement. I use it as my "take-along" stroller for errands, shopping, and travel. It has a 55 lb. weight limit, for those of you with chunky kids, and you can adjust the height of the canopy if your little one is on the tall side. The legrest can be extended so baby's legs are not hanging off awkwardly, or you can fold it down for a long-legged toddler.

>Did I mention how cool it looks? I actually have the 2005 Mod Circles print, in "Rose," which is feminine but not precious. It is very distinctive and hip-looking, and really sort of makes you want to have more babies just so you can use it!

>Mind you, if you are the sort who wants to have all sorts of trays, cupholders, compartments, and a basket large enough to store a small dog, look elsewhere. This is a sports car, not an SUV.
