Customer Reviews of 2005 BumbleRide Flyer Stroller: Pumpkin
Perfect for me. The most important thing in stroller search for me was reversible handle or seat as i can't go anywhere with my 5 month-old baby not facing me. She needs to see me all the time. <
>I've read several reviews on this one and even seing that some of the reviews were not so good i've purchased it (Pumpkin color) and after using for 2 weeks now can tell that: <
> <
>Handle: It reverses easily and i thank Bumble Ride for this option. <
>Wheels: We spend most of the time outdoors in the sun and fresh air so the wheels is not a problem for me. I just needed about 30 minutes to get used to it. And yes - we did shopping aswell and haven't had problems with moving around. <
>Basket: I don't carry much with me so the basket is more than enough for me and re: accessing it to change the baby - if you're not going to change diapers while baby is sleeping you can always lift the seat a bit. Pacifier and some small toys we usually carry in a canopy pocket. <
>Cup holder and etc.: I got rid of such habit as having drinks and snacks on the go as it affects health and body not in a good way plus results in extra pounds of body weight so i don't need all those trays and holders. <
>Folding: yes. it takes some effort to get it folded and unfold but i haven't done this more than once as i have enough space in the house to keep the stroller ready to go. <

>This way i have a nice stroller with a reversible handle in a nice color for my baby-girl for a bit more than $200.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
I read the review below and I agree with everything that person said but 3 stars is too high. I hate how the stroller does not navigate properly and I hate the basket. I also wish I had spent a few extra bucks for the Bugaboo.
Nice stroller, but...
I did a ton of research before buying this stroller - I bought it in Aug 05 (before Babies R Us even had it). I really liked the look of the Bugaboo but the price tag was a bit much. I decided on the flyer vs the rocket b/c I wanted baby to face me for the first few months. I wish I had gone w/ the rocket b/c when baby is facing you - the only way the stroller works is for the wheels that do not rotate to stay in the front. I'm pretty positive of this - we tried to change out the wheels with no success. It is EXTREMELY difficult to steer the stroller in tight places like the mall, etc when in this mode. I noticed another review that said it was a little difficult to close - YES, it took me several times to get the hang of closing it and it snapped on my fingers - ouch. Another Big Pet Peeve is that the basket is not low enough to the ground. So, to get your diaper bag, you literally have to move baby b/c if the seat is reclined, it's blocking access to the bag. This is a pain if you're just trying to get out a paci or something. Also, there aren't any accessories available like a hook or anything that attaches to the handlebar so that you can sit drinks, cell phone, hang purse, etc. The basket below is big enough for my purse and diaper bag but since it takes so long to get something out (wallet), I don't dare stick my purse in the basket (there is a pocket for a cell phone or something so I guess that's not the biggest deal). If I was looking for a stroller, I'd probably want one without the one piece handlebar (since there are no hooks or anything). Where do you put your bags when you go shopping? Now I see the practical reason people get the 2 unbrella handles (you can put all kinds of bags over the handles). Overall, it's nice - I wish I could have seen one in person before ordering b/c I probably would have just gone w/ the bugaboo. I see people out w/ those and I can't help but notice how much better it is designed (for example, all 4 wheels turn at the same time - HUGE FEATURE) and with the bugaboo, you can use just the frame w/ your carseat (VERY COOL). Until you have baby (mine is now 6 months old), there is no way you can know what features you'll need. Honestly, I would suggest waiting until baby is born before picking out a stroller. Most people don't leave the house w/ a tiny baby anyway and the stroller was such a pain to get out - usually I'd just carry the infant carrier everywhere if I had to run to the store (those graco carseat holders look really cool). So, wait until baby is about 2 months old and then take him up to the store and actually try the strollers out. Get out of the aisle w/ the 10 foot wide runway and push him through the clothing racks - this is the kind of environment you'll really be in, not a landing strip. Hope this helps!
